A Winning Track-record
Our entrepreneurial roots go back to 1986 when we began with content distribution by setting up a video library service. Market dynamics and consumer insights threw up opportunities that were quickly seized to increase customer base and reach. Soon, we established ourselves as the preferred option for a discerning clientele that constantly sought fresh and new content.

The advent of cable television in 1990 revolutionised content distribution and threw up fresh challenges in terms of consumer behaviour and expectations. The foray into content distribution through Cable TV was a natural progression, as also an opportunity to demonstrate our pioneering approach. We were the first cable TV operator to offer subscribers diverse content across 5 channels.

Seeking to expand our reach and offering through inorganic growth, we entered into a strategic partnership in 1994, which helped us grow exponentially by offering subscribers access to content from over 50 channels.

Deep domain expertise, vast experience and intensive consumer interaction empowered us with the confidence to launch ourselves into the Cable TV business afresh in 1999, and a brand was born – Worldwide Interactive Network or WIN. Launched with a bang, WIN Cable was the first cable TV operator in Asia to offer content across 100 channels, and the first in India to offer Broadband Internet connectivity to subscribers through cable infrastructure. Today, WIN Cable is the preferred and trusted service provider of choice across the upscale suburbs of Bandra, Khar and Santacruz in Mumbai, the financial capital of India.

Rapidly evolving technology; India’s explosive mobile growth and broadband internet penetration; a welcome downward rationalization of data costs; impending 5G connectivity; and a tectonic shift in the way people access and consume content; offers an unprecedented opportunity in the form of Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). Enter WIN IPTV. It is an interactive and immersive medium, an internet-based content delivery platform that will redefine the way subscribers access and consume content of their choice.

Besides Cable TV and IPTV, the WIN Group has diversified interests and investments in several areas where it seeks and endeavours to leverage its entrepreneurial spirit, pioneering philosophy, and knowledge and resource base, to offer, provide and deliver winning products, services and experiences to an attuned and discerning consumer.

They include automobile accessories like WIN Suspension Enhancing System, imported from TTC, South Korea, and exclusively marketed in India.

Other interests include forays into restaurants, hospitality, and social initiatives like free educational content through WIN IPTV.
